Afropunk 10 was an even greater experience this year. As they celebrated its decade mark. There were plenty of merchandised vendors, multiple stages, an array of food trucks. They were even sponsored by Pony & I believe a few hundred pairs of sneakers were distributed to the Afropunk attendees. There was also plenty of Hip Hop/Graffiti art gracing the walls by various Graf artist. The fashion was in full effect as if it were a really cool street runway show. Many celebrities siting such as Jeffery Wright and Maleek Yoba among others The House of Marley and, Red-bull setup a stage to play reggae, dancehall and, roots & culture. The party in that section was so live it resemble a prelude to the Labor Day, Eastern Parkway festivities. Many performances took place throughout the various stages. All of the performances were amazing a few of the outstanding performers among the many were FishBone, Body Count, Alice Smith, Sharon Jones and The Dap kings, Meshell Ndegeocello, and, finally D'angelo's performance culminated the final night of the two day event. Overall it was an amazing experience.
